Kevin Murphy joined TIG in 2012 as senior vice president, bringing with him over 28 years experience in commercial real estate including development, investment, and asset management. Prior to TIG, Kevin was a top producer at McAllister & Associates in Austin, Texas, closing over $40 million in commercial transactions. In the mid 2000s, he managed the entire real estate asset portfolio of the Catholic Diocese of Austin, encompassing 126 parishes, while undertaking a capital campaign involving the underwriting, valuation, and acquisition of over $20 million in property and assets.
In the early 2000s, Kevin served as senior real estate manager for CB Richard Ellis, overseeing a 450,000-square-foot, Class A office portfolio. He achieved a 95% tenant retention rate and leased over 300,000 square feet of space. Kevin leased over two million square feet of space as a senior real estate manager at Trammell Crow in the 1990s, in addition to asset managing 25 industrial and office properties in Central Texas.
Kevin earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas and is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin. He holds a Texas real estate license and is a CCIM candidate.
