Monica Whitten joined TIG in May of 2007. As Director of Properties, Monica oversees the Property Management department, directs and develops business strategies for property management operations, and manages properties for several TIG property owners directly.

Monica has more than 12 years experience in Texas commercial real estate in all aspects of asset management, including property management, development, risk management, and strategic financing. Most recently Monica spent 5 years with RREEF Investment Managers overseeing a core portfolio of 5M square foot of industrial and office product in the DFW area for one of the largest pension fund clients in the country. During her tenure she completed due diligence on $23M in acquisitions and $53M in dispositions; the formation of global joint venture inclusive of $106M in local assets, oversight of $225M in CMBS loans/refinances and the completion of a $4M renovation project of a single user building converted into a multi-tenant office building which received The City of Richardson Community Revitalization Award in January of 2007. As a member of the RREEF Steering Committee, Monica was involved in research for technology advancements and national policy compliance within the organization, including leadership during design workshops and pilot testing of new software, establishing training materials and strategies for the implementation of new programs and policies, as well as, making recommendations for management, accounting, administrative, and engineering policy changes to limit paperwork and redundancy, create consistency and improve productivity.
