With over 20 years experience in the Austin real estate market, Michelle joined TIG in August, 2005. Michelle is responsible for property management including property operations, owner and tenant relations, communications, and construction management.

Prior to joining TIG, Michelle spent 12 years with Kennedy Wilson as Senior Property Manager. Complete management responsibilities for over 1 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties in the Austin area. At Kennedy Wilson, her responsibilities included interfacing with the owners, supervising maintenance projects and equipment retrofits, negotiating service contracts, maintaining tenant relations and implementing “Tenant Relations Program”, reviewing and approving monthly financial reports, preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and operating reports, evaluating leases, supervising problem tenant situations and implementing lease default remedies, preparing and monitoring annual operating and capital improvement budgets, monitoring property tax assessments and recommending appropriate appeals. Worked closely with the leasing team to maintain tenant relations and maintain 90 – 100 % occupancy levels. Acted as General Contractor for all tenant finish construction which included: space planning/test fits, coordinating MEP and architectural services as necessary to produce construction documents, CD review, pricing, vendor selection, value engineering, and quality control.

At Kennedy Wilson, Michelle was also involved in the ground-up construction management of 3 commercial office buildings totaling 375,975 square feet. She was also responsible for general contracting for all tenant finish construction and construction management on these 3 properties.

Previous management experience includes 4 years at Swearingen/Koll Management; and 5 at the Paragon Group. Michelle began her career at Coldwell Banker-Houston in 1983 as a property accountant.

Michelle is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations.
